I have been receiving iron infusions at City West Medical Centre (Auburn) for the past three years, and every visit has been an extremely positive experience. In particular, Dr. Serkan Erkan takes the time to clearly and calmly explain every step of the procedure before the infusion begins, and continues to inform and reassure throughout the process. Why the number is not available ?
Had a 1:15 pm appointment and arrived at 1:00 pm, but my number was not called until 4:00 pm. Several people who arrived after me were seen within 20 minutes. Appointments were not followed in order, and no explanation was given. From my observation, it appeared that patients from the doctor’s own country (India) were being called earlier, while others were made to wait much longer. This felt unfair and unprofessional.
