Absolutely disgusting experience. Do NOT stay here under any circumstances. I have never felt so unsafe and frustrated at a hotel. There were constant issues with security, and it felt like anyone could enter the property. My room and belongings were not properly protected, and the entire experience left me feeling stressed and violated. The management was unhelpful, dismissive, and seemed completely uninterested in addressing serious concerns. Depresso Expresso. The positives good clean sheets, bed was comfortable and location- near Flinders Street station and everywhere further afield plus noise level not bad for location. Now the negatives...... - Dirty entrance. - Matted carpeting down the corriders with holes in the walls. LISTEN TO ALL THE OTHER 1 STAR (0 star) REVIEWS. This hotel room is dingy, dirty and dreary. We have found dust, litter and strange black stains on the curtain. We believe they recently painted over the walls most likely to cover up mould. The TV, microwave and AC do not work. There were also stains in the shower. This place may be cheap but please don't let it fool you as it has fooled us. The photos lie. My sister commented "Maybe we should keep the curtain open so that we know people still exist."

I stayed here for 4 nights and unfortunately it was a very disappointing experience. The room was never serviced during my entire stay. No one came to clean the room, replace the toilet paper or restock basic amenities like shampoo and soap. For a stay of several days, I would expect at least some level of housekeeping. The hotel itself feels very old and poorly maintained. The carpets have a strong damp smell which is noticeable as soon as you enter the building.
