I used to always get my smog checks done here for my 3 cars since maybe the late 90's or early 2000's. Then, in 2007 to 2011, I got them in San Ramon since I moved there. However, I realized the price and service is better here and I just plan my smog checks here with one of my visits to my mom in Newark. I have always received quick and courteous service here with no issues.
No good service
Went for a smog check at this place because the other place where I usually get my smog done was closed early in the morning. He failed my car when it passes at other places no problem. He said he noticed the throttle body on my car was supposedly missing a cap and that it had been adjusted or tampered with. He was whispering with another supposed to be mechanic who was sitting in his truck next to his smog shop and saying it’s been tampered with. I’ve never touched the throttle body.
