The event was thoughtful but, there seems to always be "too many" people for the venue. And it's not organized enough for the children to have fun. There's a lot of waiting in lines. My son was not happy in the end.
Oakpark recreation is quite/friendly/organize and a very clean environment.
Can't speak for the community programs and events. But I've spent enough years in youth sports to say that sportsmanship is seriously lacking from coaches and parents/fans. Perhaps some training is needed in that area for your youth sports programs.
Grew up there in the 60s and 70s great place lots of memories and secrets
