Had a track meet here with TAAF. The organization (TAAF) were extremely strict on what could be brought in (coolers/tents) It was a huge/long meet. Stadium is a bit smaller than expected.
One of the few tracks around with trees for shade. I visited during the regional summer Track Meet, so I brought a chair to sit in between events. I was able to sit in the shade, and with nearly 100° temps, it was appreciated. The loud speaker was clear, and the jumbo-tron was sleek. The people running the event were kind and helpful. It was a GREAT experience.
Do NOT put your kids in City of Waco Track. The track workers and volunteers were horrible. Don't care about kids passing out. And unorganized. And their attitudes are rude. And the director will not give you your money back for Summer kids track.
We met up here to practice T-Ball for my son's team!
