All departments are pitiful,that simple.The streets look horrible with debris lining them, and in disrepair. The police department is understaffed and don't even do their own investigations no coverage past midnight from my understanding .Citizens pay more property tax than any other city in Newton County and most certainly have the worst service .Ride down the allies covered in debris and covered in pot holed.
Need more cashiers but over all a good place to shop
I personally love Porterdale. I just hate that it's becoming such an elitist place to live. I used to have a nice two bedroom house in Porterdale. I only paid $450 a month. I live in a tent now because the cheapest one room duplex i could find around here is $760 a month. It's a shame that most of the people who have lived here their whole life can't afford to live here anymore.
