Went to vital statistics in port arthur to add my recently deceased husband's name to a birth certificate. The lady there told me "ma'am, we don't add dead people to documents! They're already dead" and rolled her eyes. She told me I needed a court order to do that and when I told her I had the court order signed by a judge with me, she wouldn't even look at it and told me I needed to hire an attorney. Nurses do not maintain professionalism. I also witnessed many HIPPA violations. Patient’s were asked their report questions in the lobby around other staff and patients.
