The land of the walking dead! When Sonny Bono took over, that was the nail in the coffin for this once very cool town. It has never recovered. Downtown is a joke. Retail is a joke. The club scene and music is a joke. There is new construction but developers are having a hard time getting world class businesses to sign on. And what about this one-way type streets on Palm Canyon and Indian Canyon roads? Ridiculous! Are they trying to hurry people out of downtown??
