It should be illegal for them to leave you on hold this long. I sent emails I’ve called countless times. There should honestly be a lawsuit against the city for their negligence.

I am a veteran and they keep messing up my exemption. This will be the 3rd year i’ve had to argue with my mortgage company because my escrow isn’t set up to cover my exempt taxes. I called the assessors office and was told it was an error and they’d fix it. It was not fixed and now my mortgage payment has doubled to accommodate the taxes that were paid that shouldn’t have been billed and new taxes for next year that i should be exempt from. Every property I recorded have failed to transfer I've always have to go in and call them at least 3-4 times in order for them to get it right..this is hands down the worst department in the entire US
