A 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, City Market is strongly focused on bringing local, farm-fresh, healthy options to the community—thus addressing the “food desert” or non-existence of quality grocery and produce in Downtown Bay City. We truly believe in supporting local farmers and knowing where food comes from! City Market also provides the community with a few places to get quality treats and snacks, as well as Michigan-themed products including clothing and crafts.

I love the ByCy City Market. Yea, you'll pay a bit more for some things, but you get all that you need from: a giant bun place, vegetable market, fresh ground espresso and latte's, pizza, big cookies, smoke fish, many kinds, fresh bread and baked goods, barbeque, organic farm meats, eggs, and milk, a small sit down Mexican food place, scents and lotions, hand made chocolates, fancy pickles, wines, and a place that does food demonstrations, I'm missing a couple. Love supporting the local community. Food venders are amazing and I love the wine booth. Friendly faces everywhere. Such a great sense of community and locals. My daughter absolutely loves the play area and loves coming here for her garlic knots from Brooklyn Boys. ��
I am at the market a couple days a week. The atmosphere is wonderful and everyone is always so friendly! I LOVE that they promote small businesses is our area and the variety is Great! So happy we have something like this in Bay City!

The only reason I keep coming to this market is for the amazing cinnamon rolls from cinnamom and that guys BBQs pulled pork sandwiches... And today watched a cooking demonstration ...which was really neat and free.
