Love the atmosphere! Reminds me of being down state but North :-) I see great things not only with this citymarket but in the Bay City area!!

I decided to take a quick trip through the new City Market. I was impressed overall with how much there is to offer. I purchased some items from Dost Family Farms and the guy was really nice. He even explained how to find the best corn. I also stopped at Heidi's Darn Good Cookies. I look forward to trying the 2 cookies that I purchased when I get home from work to split the 2 in half so we can try them. What a great addition to downtown! It was exciting to see so many people checking it out. I only wish the weekend hours were longer.
Just got done roaming through the Market (inside, and the open-air section). I'm very impressed. Lot's of local vendors, with an emphasis on food items (which is what I associate a City Market with). The interior was very well lit. The people (vendors, customers and volunteers) were extremely friendly and jovial. To actually see something like this in downtown just blew me away.
Such an amazing addition to downtown Bay City! This place is for everyone and our community is so lucky to have a year round Market. It is a must see!
