A 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, City Market is strongly focused on bringing local, farm-fresh, healthy options to the community—thus addressing the “food desert” or non-existence of quality grocery and produce in Downtown Bay City. We truly believe in supporting local farmers and knowing where food comes from! City Market also provides the community with a few places to get quality treats and snacks, as well as Michigan-themed products including clothing and crafts.

I liked it a lot at the beginning, once Dost left, there were even LESS produce booths to choose from. It is too bad, really. There is a great variety of produce at the place when you first walk in through the front, though. I just miss the variety of items Dost had, the jam, eggs, meat, produce...If they could get more farmers in there to give it more of a farmer's market feel, I would love it again...
All the vendors are awesome, loved it, if ever in bay city hit up the city market, oh and try that guys barbecue.!!!!! Excellent👍👍👍👍👍
