Built in the early 1900s, City Market still holds a lot of old world charm. The building was renovated in 1988 to house specialty shops, art galleries, and restaurants, but the original cobblestone streets remain. There is a festive atmosphere here on the weekends, when the trees are lit in the evening and live music is played on the streets. A trolley runs Thursday through Saturday nights, offering free transportation to other downtown locales.
