I’ve lived in City Lofts for two years and can honestly say I’ve really enjoyed it. As a student and a full time worker it is crucial for me to have somewhere close by and relaxing and city lofts has all of that for me.The only issues I have the high utility costs and some minor issues with amenities which I've asked about and have yet to figure out but that’s been the only issue. The leasing office and maintenance team is timely and accountable. Love ya CL!
As someone who has lived here for three years and originally recommended this complex to many friends and my current roommate, but now wishes I had never renewed my lease, I feel qualified to speak to the downfall of City Lofts on Laclede and give a warning to any potential leasers. I lived here for two years. Jalen is an unreliable, unprofessional property manager. The garage is constantly broken and your car likely will get broken into. Jalen refused to speak to me for weeks regarding a crime committed against me on the property, and refused to send footage to the police and ruined my case. Also the rent and fees are outrageous and increase significantly every year. Live anywhere but here
this place absolutely sucks. things to know before you move in- 1. the parking garage gate is consistently broken causing thieves to enter and smash your car windows and steal all the shit in your car. Keep in mind you pay 50-75$ a month for “surveillance” and “security officers” to protect your cars. 2. I never have had any interior lighting in my apartment.
