Zero or even negative stars. We booked a place, it was cancelled and we never got our money back. We only heard lies from Alex - which he is still telling to people! He once tried to send a cheque which did not clear as PayPal informed us that there is no money in his account. Fortunately, my bank was able to reverse the charges, so we only had to deal with the lies but did not suffer too much of a financial loss. What a place to stay! Heard this was the trend forward hotel in a Cleveland, and I heard right! My best friend and my sister stayed with me in a room with two beds, lots of space and exceptional customer service.
Was SUPPOSED to stay in one of these apartments for 2 nights March 16 (TODAY) and 17 for St. Patrick's Day festivities and KISS concert. Had communication issues with Alex from the beginning after booking/paying him (which by the way he would only accept payment via cash app...shocking...guess why?)! Started questioning if this was legit...when he finally returned my calls/texts, he gave me sob story and assured me this wasn't a scam. Great experience. This was my 2nd time working with Alex. Both times went smoothly. Great place. Reasonable price. And communication with him was great as well.
I wish I had read THESE reviews. AirBnB site did not have this many negative comments. But let me add mine: Unit 307 was not clean and ready for occupancy. Upon arrival for 2 nights in January 2019, we found dirty dishes in the kitchen sink, laundry in the washer and the dryer, party glitter on all floors including bathroom and shower floors, dryer vent kinked and leaking - fire hazard, one toilet valve not working, second toilet had feces on the sides of the bowl, 1 of 2 furnaces not working, no dining table or chairs, brok... read more
