It'll do in a pinch... City Liquors was recently expanded, so they've used the extra space to blow out their wine selection. Heavy on the mid-range californian and australian, nothing staggeringly wonderful, but decent if you need a bottle for dinner. Prices are average, but much better than Swan Liquors, up the hill on Hope St. I think they've got one owner who knows his wine. Its no Campus Wines, but they are open late and are convenient.
a decent liquor store City Liquors is a decent liquor store. It's convenient to where I live, which is the main reason I go there. The selection is average, as are the prices. I certainly wouldn't go out of my way to go to this store, but it does the job when I'm in a hurry.
