I belonged to the City Club for years and participated in several committees. However, they have become irrelevant and dated. The younger generation don't know they exist and the current city hall regime ignores them. Let Ted Wheeler come
I went to a Friday Forum recently. The club and the presenters clearly weren't interested in a discussion of a complex issue. Instead we got a one-sided presentation from a slanted panel and currated questions that wouldn't challenge the speakers. Might as well just put on Fox News or MSNBC. City Club is just so much echo chamber now.
Still waiting for that stabbing report.
