I had my 1937 Hudson Terraplane "restored" here over a 3 and 1/2 year ordeal. I was originally told the restoration would take about 6 months and cost about $50k. The final total after 3 and 1/2 years was over $150k. To be fair, some of the cost was due to upgrades that I wanted on the engine and the frame, but not nearly that much.
