I love this place! I probably go here approximately once per week. All I get from this establishment is their ribs and jollof rice. Occasionally, I'll get their potato salad and plantains. For the ribs, I used to get the bbq flavored ribs and the jerk. However, once I began trying the dry rub, I understood I was making a grave mistake for a very long time. Nowadays, I only get the bbq and sry rub. I have tried their sausage, suya chicken and beef, and even their veggies. But the ribs and jollof rice is where home is!

The asun was my fav! I’m not a huge fan of samosas but the owner insisted I try it. Let’s just say I ordered plenty of samosas to last me for the week! The jollof was also very delicious and not too spicy! I highly recommend

Another black owned business that I frequent has changed for the worst. I can't even start to verbalize the disappointment! Mac n cheese - no taste, Suya - not spicy, greens - not tender, rice hard and tasted old. Just sitting here shaking my head because this spot use to be my special place. They will be getting $0.00 from me going forward. Was a good thing, now just bland. I will save my money for the next business that keeps the food tasty. Good my City Chef.

This place does orders to go. I got the 1/4 slab ribs and collard greens on the lunch menu. My order was ready very quickly in about 5 minutes. Ribs were a bit charred, but had good flavor. 2025 update: lunch special times have shortened and ends at 2 pm. There are few tables to wait at but it's still primarily take out orders.
