Excellent drinks & the live jazz band on Thursday was phenomenal.
Food was delicious. Our server, Elliott, was good. The corn was so good.
I tried it out and the greens were too sweet, candied sweet potatoes okay, ribs okay and I looked at my receipt when I got home and noticed I was charged for the 2 sides $5.00 each which was part of the meal. Not cool!
Everything was hot and flavorful. I will return !!!! The food was hot and steamy ❤️
City Chef RULES! Best soul food in Bowie, hands down… nobody else even comes close. I mean, Ruby’s is pretty good - if you don’t mind spending twice as much per person - but da Chef got SERIOUSLY large portions for *very* reasonable prices. Me & wifey got the 2-pc catfish (Mike hooked it up & put a 3rd filet in there too, thanks dude!) and a BBQ chicken, with mac and greens for sides.
