As the snow thawed, I noticed water coming in from my lower roof/deck. Roger was quick to come out for a consultation and was thorough in his inspection. He showed me where the problems were and how he and his crew would correct them. He redesigned and replaced my new PVC decking to allow for better drainage and removed an old skylight from my main roof that I didn’t know I had - while replacing the entire old flat roof. I called another roofing company to get a quote for a new roof, they quoted me $17k, I knew that was way too much money. I have heard good things about Roger Shiflett who owns City Builders. I called explained my situation to Roger who said that they could definitely help me at a much lower cost. Roger is the best! I had a leak in my roof that was caused by bad work done by my neighbor’s contractor. When I told Roger about the issue, he came out the next day, and was able to take a look and thoroughly explain to me what the problem was, what caused it, and exactly how we could fix it. Roger and his team were quick to come out, assess the issue, and provide an estimate for water leaking into my home. They were able to fit me into their schedule the very next day, which I really appreciated. Throughout the process they were communicative, professional, punctual, and reasonably priced. I especially valued that they recommended conservative measures first rather than immediately pushing for a larger, potentially unnecessary repair.
