Stood at the counter this morning waiting to pay for an item, there were no other customers in the store and 3 girls working in the store saw me standing there and didn’t acknowledge me. I had to call out for service to which one girl eventually came to the counter with the most miserable look on her face. They all looked miserable. What a rubbish experience by team who clearly aren’t taught what customer service actually is.
My experience with City Beach in Burwood wasn’t great overall. The customer service felt really poor and unwelcoming, as if customers were more of a burden than a priority (not the first time). It also took a long time for staff to come to the register, even when there wasn’t much going on in store. When someone did eventually help, the interaction felt dry and dismissive, making checkout slow and the whole shopping experience uncomfortable. This afternoon, I had purchased a dress from your store and later went to another shop to buy a towel. After that, my friends and I walked past your store again. At that moment, I noticed another customer walking through the security entrance, which triggered the alarm. Shortly after, a staff member (blonde hair Aussie woman with a big lips!) approached us and asked us to stop, stating that she needed to check my bags. I don't really review much places however shopping at city beach was incredible, super organied and attentive. Marianna helped me find the most perfect pieces, just in time for summer. Her help really made my day brighter, from her compliments, to her amazing sense of care. I'll definitely be revisiting for euro summer! 🤗
I came to throw the worst experience with the customer service but checked the reviews first and I agreed with all the lowest reviews . One of the girl was very rude First time went to that store they didn’t even ask if I need a bag and literally gave the pant in my hand . Worst
