Very rude attitude coming from emo teenage employees. The staff told me no eating in the store while I was holding an unopened biscuit and I replied I’m not eating. She immediately talked back to me and was extremely rude saying “ I never said you were eating, I only said no eating? Why are u saying that ” etc I was super offended because they took advantage of the fact that I was younger then them which probably gave her the ego to say that.
There is a young small blonde girl that works there and as soon as I walked into the store she did not greet me. She just looked at me and when I asked her for help she simply rolled her eyes and gave me a very short answer response to my question and as I followed it up with another question she simply responded with” I don’t know” which I think is completely outrageous for a retail worker to respond like that and even if she didn’t know she had nothing in her power like a responsible young adult to resolve the issue and as... read more
Stood at the counter this morning waiting to pay for an item, there were no other customers in the store and 3 girls working in the store saw me standing there and didn’t acknowledge me. I had to call out for service to which one girl eventually came to the counter with the most miserable look on her face. They all looked miserable. What a rubbish experience by team who clearly aren’t taught what customer service actually is.
My experience with City Beach in Burwood wasn’t great overall. The customer service felt really poor and unwelcoming, as if customers were more of a burden than a priority (not the first time). It also took a long time for staff to come to the register, even when there wasn’t much going on in store. When someone did eventually help, the interaction felt dry and dismissive, making checkout slow and the whole shopping experience uncomfortable.
