I agree with the other commenters on here that have lived in areas where bbq is king. I'm from Virginia and have lived and traveled all over the south. I've tasted the best of NC bbq, SC bbq, Texas bbq, and City BBQ is NOT very good. It's not good bbq at all. I'm not sure if they really know what good bbq is. Most of their meats are pretty dry, not cooked properly to be called bbq, and their "Carolina Barbeque" is a joke. I KNOW real Carolina bbq, and that ain't it. Food is great, the Brisket will melt in your mouth with flavor, sides are like home made & good, makes you just want to eat more! Deserts if you have any room left try the "Triple Dark Chocolate Cake", one monster piece & delicious! You just have to try it!
You just can't get much better bar b que than here, the brisket sold me 1/2 lb sandwich + 2 sides each, overfill, had to take the two "Triple Dark Chocolate" Pieces of cake home, just too much to eat but oh it was worth every penny of it. Food for 2 people, drinks & take home cake, about $30 bucks, I'm sold!
Everything about this place was great! I give it 4 stars for the food, cleanliness in dining area, restroom & parking lot & the staff was just awesome! Definitely my favorite place to dine out/carry out!!!
was disappointed with ribs. ordered whole slab thinking they would be great, but was wrong. place was recommend by a friend. found ribs to be tough and chewy. Mac and cheese was the best part of meal. staff was friendly. maybe another time I may try again.
I paid $6.59 for a turkey sandwich which included a dry bun and 2 slices of meat. No sides included. I will never ever ever ever go back.
