I haven’t had City BBQ in over a year. THE quality and quantity has gone DOWN. I purchased a slab of ribs, with 3 small sides and bread and banana pudding for $50 . Food was NOTHing to write home about. The ribs were NOT meaty nor tender. The Mac n cheese was NOT baked , taste milky like cooked atop the stove - everything was lUKE warm. Lastly the banana pudding contained NO bananas nor Vanilla wafers only pudding and whipped cream with caramel sauce . Very disappointed customer with cost and value of food.
It’s always great food and service here! I would always recommend this place for a good stop of barbecue and “make yourself at home” style customer service. The staff here are always authentic and warm. Ms Amber had good spirit and great suggestions.
Food was delicious. However, the fries can be better though.
I was craving barbecue in the area and glad I stopped in here. I was greeted with a smile and great customer service by Jaden. The food was served fast and tasted great. I ordered, pulled pork, mac & cheese, green beans, and brisket. Also, I ordered the banana pudding because I saw multiple people picking it up. I took it home with me as a sweet treat so hopefully it is just as tasty as everyone makes it seem to be.
Jordan was AWESOME !!! was very informative of the menu items as it was my first time. gave great recommendations & the food itself was also 10/10 will definitely be back when I’m in the city !!!
