Received a quote for a CD over the phone. Unfortunately, by the time I made it over a couple of hours later the rate had changed. I didn't even have to ask them to honor the rate. When I walked in and asked about opening a cd he immediately asked if I had called in that morning. He stated that the rate went down, but he would honor what he quoted me over the phone. You don't often find service like that anymore. Exactly why I do business with "hometown" banks. Try getting that service from a national bank!
