Many times you read reviews and say not sure. But my wife and I were very happy with our entire night. Our server Danny was absolutely amazing. We asked about the differences between a few entrees and his description was spot on. Was also checking in on us and never had to wait for anything except the check since he wanted us to enjoy our time out. Would go back again.
Dinner was excellent. Really tasty dishes. Fried calamari was excellent.
We tried arancini, bolognese, some greens and chicken dish. The only thing that stood out was the chicken! It was so flavorful and not dry. Arancini was not great, the marinara was too sour for me. Service was slow and a bit neglected, we tried to get our server so many times and It’s a bit loud inside
Best Italian food in East Hampton. A lot of people compare this one to Sant Ambreous up the street, but I think this one is better. The atmosphere makes me feel like I'm in an old Italian place in the city. Service is really good and efficient. Food is fresh and there are a lot of options to choose from. You can walk in during lunch on most days, but I recommend a reservation if you're coming for dinner. Portions are also fairly large, so I recommend coming hungry or splitting.
