I came in for a annual dental exam, X-rays, and cleaning. I am 59 years old, have never had a cavity, and have always kept up with dental care. The X-rays and exam were completed, and I was told I needed a deep cleaning. I explained that I wanted to consult with my primary care doctor first due to serious allergies and regular cleaning covered by my insurance.
