Dr.Reddy has been my Nephrologist in almost 8 years and I'm keep her as my specialist. She is respectful to her patients, courteous and when going over medical history I'm able to understand everything she says and why she is or is not ordering tests. We discuss renal diets and what foods or desserts to give up. What I really like is if a test has an unusual result she calls me on the phone to discuss options of treatment without having to rush to her office in a panic. Panicking can cause a disaster. Dr. Padma Reddy is one of the best doctors I’ve found in Citrus County. Staff was terribly rude to everyone who walked in.
I saw Dr. Shaw twice. I was not referred but chose his office because it was close to where I live. When I arrived at his office there was a very large sign on the front door (which was locked) stating DO NOT TOUCH DOOR. Ring bell and a nurse will come to the door. In all fairness this was during COVID. However, I thought it extreme. When the nurse let me in there were large footprints painted on the floor that you were to stop at until you were asked to come forward to a counter.
