My husband went in this shop today for a smog check on a 1989 Chevy pick up. After waiting for two others that were in front of him the guy told him he couldn't do his truck because he didn't want to scratch the paint. Absolutely ridiculous. I'm going to report him to the Bureau of Automotive Repair. There are very few shops that actually do a smog check for older vehicles and this is just not acceptable. It's beyond stupid.
