Horrible staff my mom is there and every time I go to see her I am kicked out after just getting there. This place is the worst
This is a horrible place. Today Dec 23, 2025 went to visit a friend with her son. The staff was rude and treated us like we were criminals. My friend’s other son who has been accused of double homicide but did not stand trial because of being incompetent lied about having conservatorship and called the sheriff to have us removed. My friend was very distressed by this. This facility does not treat the residents fairly. They put a very agitated man in my friend’s small room to stay. Even the staff was afraid of him. My grandma has end stage dementia and has been a resident at Citrus Gardens for a few months now - I can honestly say having her placed here was the best decision! She receives wonderful care and always is clean and well groomed. I've been there for a few meal times and sampled the food (for safety measures of course LOL) and can say it was quite delicious.
