Medical price gouging and collusion in suprise billing... Over 4 months after being assured they were in-network by my ortho practice I received a bill for $578, for $137 worth of testing based on what they PAY medicare and $114 based on CIGNA fair price, and yes they do business with medicare. I have attempted contact to seek justification for their pricing model and billing policies for over a year now. If anyone else is interested in a class action please post here.

My wife received bill from CD Laboratories for services allegedly provided to her more than one year ago. She's covered on my United Health plan. Never saw a bill from them before. No evidence this was ever submitted to our insurance provider. I called the phone number on the bill and both times the call went directly to messaging. I left my name and number, but never received a call. I'm mailing a dispute today.

CD lab is not in net work even for reputed insurance company's PPO policy. As per my experience, they bill whatever they feel like and expect to get paid promptly. In my case the insurance paid their contracted rate and patient's responsibility is 118% more than that of the allowable rate by the insurance. Future customers may want to avoid this lab if possible.
