Absolutely do not patronize At Citizen's Bank. It funds one of the largest private prison corporations in the country. CoreCivic runs at least 65 prisons and ICE detention centers and has a history of running these facilities with violence and neglect. Additionally, their payment system has serious issues with bill pay, transfers, and unexpected charges. Citizens Bank has maintained financial relationships with the two largest private prison operators, CoreCivic and The GEO Group, both of which operate detention centers for ICE.
The worst!!!!!
Absolutely do not bank here - incredibly shady business practices from their bankers. They sold me a CD during a promotion, gave me absolutely zero information or heads up that it automatically renews after the 10 months, and now my money is locked up with them for another 10 months except they slashed the interest rate to 0. Complete bait and switch, I repeat to not bank with this branch or with the bank in general
They nwver respond phone calls. TERRIBLE BRANCH. I opened an account there and ordered a few checkbooks and never received them. Went there in person twice they said they are still on their way. Never received them after 2months. Their telephone is never picked up! TERRIBLE customer service
