Recently had a close call with scammers and Citizens helped resolve the issues. Daja was so helpful and kind, guiding us through the process. She called to check on us a few days later and offered to be available anytime we had questions.
Friendly staff but.. bank interior is shabby and in disrepair, they rarely answer the phone, they've gone through repeated bouts of being short staffed. I went in to withdraw $5,000 and they made a big deal about it, asking if I "called ahead". Seriously? 5 grand? You don't have that much on hand?!? Closed my account because of repeated 2am text alerts, despite having turned off all Citizens text alerts. Tech department was unable to fix, never heard back from management on why. I deposited my check they are holding my funds for 20 DAYS. First, they told it’ll be available after three days, then seven days and then 20 days. Each time the bank manager promised me that I will receive my funds and the excuses changes every time. 🤬 This is causing me a lots of money because of bills not being paid and charges that I have to pay out of my own pocket.
