If you want control of your money and a bank that communicates - I would not recommend Citizens. Customer service is harder to contact than most companies I’ve dealt with in the past 16 years. They use vague language to always have a “way out,” then when I told them I was dissatisfied, they said there’s nothing they can do. They actually made me act like a Karen, and I have no idea how they have loyal customers after what I’ve observed and experienced.

Opened a checking account for a bonus. Met all requirements and After a few months and conversations with the manager who reassured me that he would get back to me. Never did.

I came in near closing with a huge need from the staff. They were a great help in getting access to my money and patient with me while I got the funds in order on my account. An absolutely wonderful staff.

Very disappointing customer service. The branch manager appeared unprepared and uninformed. It took me three separate visits just to close my account—an unnecessarily frustrating experience.
