Went into the bank to make a deposit. My deposit contained cash and checks. The account number was clearly stamped on the checks. The teller asked for my ID (totally normal and correct). She then proceeded to deposit the money into my personal account and NOT the account that was written on the back of the check. Now... I came to this location to deposit $500 cash. I usually use the atm but I couldn’t find my wallet. Instead of going all the way home to look for my wallet , I decided to not waste my trip and deposit at the drive through window. I gave the teller my social, name and address and they said they couldn’t deposit the $500 without my id but they could deposit $200 without my id.
