Citizen Salon offers a variety of styles with different price ranges to suit individual preferences. I had my hair done by Bethany, who was nice. However, I wish my partial highlights had turned out thicker and richer—they ended up being very thin and turned orange instead of blonde. In hindsight, I should have communicated my preferences more clearly. The total cost for the partial highlights was $310 plus tip, which felt a bit steep given the results.

I was in search of a new stylist as the one that I was seeing somewhere else was on maternity leave and all their senior stylists were booked out for months. I searched on Yelp and came across Citizen Salon and I made an appointment with Michele S. based on all her great reviews. Well I have to say that Michele gave me the best cut I have ever had in my life! I'm serious! It was that good. The service here was ok and the space is nice, but the prices went up alot and I didn't like that the dye would stain my forehead even with the color blocker. I've discovered that I could dye my hair at home with a natural dye from Sally's Beauty Supply that doesn't irritate my skin like salon dye usually does for a fraction of the price.
