We’ve ordered from Citizen Cider several times, and there’s consistently been something missing or incorrect. This time, our Apple Smash Burger was missing both the cheese and bacon, and the paper wrapper the cheese comes in was cooked onto the burger, making it inedible. I called the pub to let them know. The $6 side of onion rings also typically comes with only six rings, making them roughly $1 each. The food that arrives correctly is delicious, but the repeated quality control issues are disappointing at this price point.
First time visiting and it was beyond our expectations! Our server was friendly, attentive, and provided fast service. We received our drinks and smash burgers in about 35 minutes which was impressive. The frickles are a MUST! The cider flight was fantastic and those who enjoy sweeter ciders the sweet tooth and apple pie are great options. We definitely will be back! Special recognition should be given to Leah our server who truly demonstrated incredible customer service.
I have been a fanatic fan of citizen cider for several seasons. On this very visit, their poignant poutine was packed with plump potatoes, glorious gravy, and casual curds - all rather ravishing. Alas, I was the designated driver so I did not digest any drink, but I know the Dirty Mayor and Apple Pie ciders are truthfully tasteful.
Really enjoyed visiting this place. Cider flight was a great introduction.
