01/13/2025 - We visited this specific Citibank branch (71st Ave & Austin Street) in Forest Hills, NY today to open a CD account and everything went very well. We registered in the waiting room for assistance, a while later, a friendly lady (maybe a supervisor) showed up and pretty quickly she found a very professional gentleman named Sami Elfarah to help us. Worst branch ever. Always filled with trash, poop and homeless with pants down. The staff does not acknowledge it whatsoever.
April 2026 - I am writing this review on behalf of a foreign friend who has had the extreme misfortune of holding an account with Citibank. After several years of banking without issue, Citibank stopped mailing his annual tax documents to his country of residence.
