It would be nice to know that your check will be held for more than a week when you deposit it. I understand they do this for new accounts the first time but apparently without telling the customer they will hold ALL your checks everytime. Don't deposit checks at citi bank cash them and deposit the cash. For some reason that's a faster process then them just letting you have you hard earned money they will give you your full check if you cash it but hold it if you deposit it. Absolutely brain dead process. Or risk losing you... read more

Extremely rude customer service woman named Hannah. She has been consistently impolite, and unhelpful. She literally threw my husband's debit card at him.

I would give zero stars, but unable to do so, and the young woman who took over and helped me was very pleasant and helpful. When I arrived the young woman was on a call and another woman, clearly a manager, was sitting next to her. She saw me and said, rather rudely, "Do you have a question?" I said yes and she called me over. I had lots of questions about Citi's new "simplified banking." I've been a customer there for years and I told them I don't want to start paying service fees on my accounts and asked how I could avoid... read more
