I booked an ice cream load for a 9 am delivery on a Friday and as the driver arrived to the receiver they claimed appointment it is 1 pm. The driver is detained at the receiver and they won't pay detention as Circle Logistics policy is 5 hours free. I strongly believe we were told wrong information so they can cover the load and clean their hands when it comes about extra compensation.
Very poor communication when trying to book a load with Vanessa Payton. I will not use this broker

ridiculous brokers Tyler Sheppard and Fort Wayne and indianapolis office, left us hanging on friday 09/19/2025 the whole day, booked a load wednesday to friday IA to TN and he absolutely did nothing except avoid my emails and calls, avoid booking with this guy at all costs, and check with shipper and receiver once you receive full info.
