VERY NICE but QUITE EXPENSIVE The movie theater is set in Santana Row which is a very nice, elegant, and expensive place to shop. The movie theater is very retro and new--it was built a couple years ago. The good thing about it is that they play more independent movies before they even come out in the bigger mainstream movie theaters you may usually go to. The other con about Cinearts is that the movie tickets are usually a couple more dollars more expensive than your usual movie theater.
Cool, classy theatre The Cinearts is a family favorite- its got a charming, classy feel to it right from the minute you walk inside: high ceilings, deep colors, and several large movie posters from long ago. Prices are pretty typical of most movie theatres ($8-10), but the charm and old-world character makes it a better choice for a movie venue.
Not Bad I went to the movies at Santana Row with some friends and didn't really enjoy it that much. The theater was nice b ut the parking was a nightmare. It ruined the whole experience for me. It would be better just to go to the centuries across the street.
I love coming here on a weekday! I love this theatre..I prefer coming during the week when parking is easier but the seats are always comfy and the theatre is always clean! And I always know that I will have a great movie experience!
Great place to see a great movie Love this theater... when they're playing a movie I want to see :) Good place to check out a nice selection independent films and others. Nice snack menu choices as well.
Smaller Movie Theater alternative Just minutes form 280, this complex has 6 theaters that show first run movies (just not the blockbusters). Unlike Cinearts in Palo Alto, they have a lot of showing duing the day (Mon-Fri). If you go during the week at lunch, there is plenty of parking next door and lots of places for lunch afterward.
