I got two conflicting messages about my appointment. On Sunday evening I got a notification that my appointment was changed- no phone, call no voicemail. I called during the week to check and confirm my appointment for the original time. I received a text message confirming my appointment would be at 8:00 a.m. I showed up, and no one was there. Felt unsafe and not warned about serious side-effects after eye dilation at my first eye exam ever. I feel obligated to share my experience since I was shocked about how the vision changes after the eyes are dilated. I am even more shocked and puzzled why I wasn't given any advance notice about it. I have perfect vision and no problems with eyes. I was referred by another doctor to check my eyes at the Cincinnati Eye Institute as a preventative measure. Dr Hater goes above and beyond when it comes to your vision. He has worked relentlessly on my eye issues and I’m so glad! My eyes are so much better!! I would refer him to anyone looking for an ophthalmologist.
