I am so Thankful! For Cincinnati Breast Surgeons and Dr Cox, I was referred by my GP and Dr Cox has been walking me through this Breast Cancer Journey, I've recently begun. Always ordering tests in a Timely manner and following thru with a personal call about results. Dr. Cox personally did my Biopsys and explained every step thru the procedure.which really helped! with my comfort. I met Dr. Runk ~20 years ago when I was diagnosed with LCIS. Follow-up care included yearly mammograms - which I had sent to Dr Runk - to monitor my condition. Occasionally, I would get an inclusive mammogram that would require additional follow-up but additional follow-up yielded normal results. In May of 2024, I felt a massive lump - the size of a small lemon - in my left breast. I went to Dr. Runk who performed an examination and ultrasound and determined it was a fatty lymph node. The office staff and location was fine. If I could just review the provider, this would be a 1 star rating. I would never recommend anyone see Dr. Runk. She was rough with my body during the breast exam, interrupted me when I tried to ask questions, and berated me for getting checked out for a lump even though I had been referred by another physician. Worst experience with a physician in my life. Avoid her at all costs.
Wanted to give well deserved recognition to Cincy breast surgeons! I was a bit nervous as it was my first appointment and I didn’t know what to expect …but everyone** was very comforting and empathetic! Melissa was incredibly knowledgeable and reassuring. Everything was thorough and they took so much time with me! I am very grateful and feel confident that they will always look out for me. Thank you all 🥹
