Check out the Cincinnati wing. The Cincinnati Art Museum became the first art museum in the country to dedicate permanent gallery space to celebrating the art history of a city.
When founded in 1881, it was the first purpose-built art museum west of the Alleghenies. This building was initially completed in 1886. From the Public Library of Cincinnati and Hamilton County.
Did you know? The museum has the only collection of ancient Nabataean art outside of Jordan. The Nabateans were, at one time, the largest empire in Europe or the Middle East.
The grounds outside are just a beautiful as the architecture on the inside. Not to mention outstanding exhibits.
