Background on me and my mother: I have epilepsy (absent seizures) and my mother is a special needs teacher for 25+ years. During the last few appoints I had with him my mother and I brought up concerns about my seizures coming reoccurring. I under went both a regular 2 hr EEG and a 72 hr EEG. Both showed abnormal activity, but Dr. Cimino insisted that I just had ADD and wanted to refer me to a psychiatrist. My mother and I sought out a second opinion that confirmed our suspicions of my seizures.
Dr.Cimino is an amazing Doctor he always has taken excellent care of my child. My son has been his patient for the past five years. I could not ask for a better doc.
He saw our daughter the first time and put my daughter on Trilepal after her second seizure. She now has constant uncontrolable tongue movement movement and is sick. She went in today to get another EEG done and it was mentioned to the nurse but the doctor was too busy to look at her and she left without having it checked out. The nurse said it might be dry mouth but she will ask the doc when he is available and call back. Getting a second opinion because of lack of attentiveness of side effect
