This is CIMA Capital Internal Medicine Associates, P.C. The doctors are good, but the office staff, especially those handling medical records, are rude, lazy, and unprofessional, they don't deserve their positions. They lack customer service training.
I've been going to CIMA for over 29 years, I will be going there till I drop dead.
I have only been a patient here since January 28, and so far getting the office to communicate with me is like painfully and slowly pulling teeth… So far I have needed to fix their mistake cuz they did not submit a release of medical record request correctly. The receptionists have told me several times there is nothing they can do to help me. The doctor and medical assistant have not returned my calls. Years ago I saw Dr Wert. In my opinion he wouldn't cross the street to help me in a sudden emergency unless I made an appointment first. I had a problem with him not returning several calls and he told me that the office manager was responsible. Evidently he was being "disingenuous." The office manager was clearly confused and said she didn't know why the doctor couldn't call me back and didn't know why he didn't. Based on my prior experiences with him, I believe her. These are my opinions. You may have different results.
I have been going to CIMA for about 5 years now and I love them. NP Pahnia Yang-Murray is what everyone in the medical field should strive to be-- both knowledgeable AND compassionate. I have always had a very strong aversion to medical visits but Pahnia has been a significant help in reducing this. Thank you!
