I wish I could check that reviews prior purchase. Extremely expensive and you going to begging them to cover necessary procedures! Unbelievable! Doctor insists but the keep denying! Meanwhile you are in pain. My last year with that nonsense!
Set up autopay without my permission when my policy renewed for $400 from $70. Anytime I become past due the system automatically sets up autopay for the next month so they’ve just drafted mays payment and junes payment of almost $800 without me authorizing it! I call customer care and they keep telling me “it looks like in the system you set up autopay” and so I explain again, I NEVER set it up, I got notification 12/2024 that Cigna set it up for draft so I went in to cancel it. The absolute worst health insurance on the market. They will tell providers you’re not a customer, then tell you, you are. They will claim they’re gonna reach out to the provider on your behalf and never follow through. As a former Anthem customer I miss them daily as I never once had an issue like this with them. They actually care about you. If you have a choice and are considering Cigna, do not! You will regret it!
Cigna dental is the worst insurance ever. They have an open tooth clause. They will not pay for implants or crowns if you have an open space where a tooth used to be. Seems like a way to not pay people. I will be cancelling today. Don’t buy this horrible insurance!!!!!
