The worst
In 2024, Cigna denied and did not pay my total of approx. $2,000 in bills for 3 routine visits, although I paid them about $1,000 per month for my portion of our healthcare plan, on time, every month. They did not inform me they were not paying the bills. When I finally noticed, Cigna provided what amounted to zero customer care, deflecting for about 5 months, until I finally threatened to sue them. I won’t go into it because it’s taken up too much of my time…but my child’s medical device should have been FULLY COVERED. And I even paid postage and sent the necessary documents to them in NC. Delivered 4/4, never heard back about finally approving or not. Just checked the mail and have CBA wanting the balance now. All American insurance is a joke.
This is the second time I've tried to enter my complaint, which should tell you everything. Need an approval for cancer treatment. After 20 minutes on the phone with people in El Salvador I still haven't found out anything.
Terrible experience, they continue to deny my medication that I need for digestion as I have CSID and can’t digest sugar… almost everything gets digested as sugar. I’ve been out of medication over a week and suspect it will be for a lot longer.
