I only saw Dr. Chen once, but I'm very grateful for the time and care she offered. I had just lost a pregnancy and was in a very dark place. Dr. Chen made me feel completely un-rushed as she answered all my questions and made me feel reassured. I left that appointment coming out of the dark space I'd been in. I will be forever grateful for her being such a wonderful doctor and human being.
“My wife recently visited this doctor in Sonora for a crucial check-up to monitor her dilation and fluid levels, hoping to discuss the possibility of induction. Unfortunately, the doctor was not communicative and failed to check how dilated my wife was. We ended up waiting for over an hour just for the baby’s heartbeat to be checked, which took an excessive amount of effort to locate. Disappointingly, she did not check the fluid levels at all. We left feeling unheard and dissatisfied with the lack of thorough care.”
Dr Chen was my OBGYN during my pregnancy and she was great. I was one of the few POC in the small town and having a WOC treating me was amazing and reassuring. She is very blunt and straight forward, which I appreciated. She treated me with such great care and kindness, even showing concern during a personal private situation. She did not deliver my baby, but took great care during my postpartum checks. I would recommend her to everyone I know.
