I had the worst experience I’ve ever had with a bank. CIBC offered me a loan to consolidate my debt, and I provided everything they asked for—answered all their questions, completed all forms accurately, and was told there were no issues. I came to inquire about a simple question as to why my card wasn’t working. I’ve been with CIBC for a while, and every time my husband or I come we’re not treated with proper respect by the old lady (Anna). She’s so grouchy and doesn’t treat customers with respect, which I’ve seen happen with my own eyes, and this is also clear in some of the reviews.
