This is one of the worst branch to deal with . I had to set up direct deposit to pay of line of credit from my chequing account . The advisor name Sherin said it’s done and I good to go . After a month when the payment was due , it was not deducted from my account . I went to check with the bank and teller informed me the person who did the set up did not do it correctly and will have to come back to fix as there is no advisor available, which they never have . Should give a 0 star rating. I went to open a bank account today and they wasted 20 minutes of my time making me wait. Once I went to open the account, this older lady with blonde hair was terribly incompetent. She didn’t ask the right questions and then proceeded to tell me she can’t open an account for me.
Waiting times are ridiculous. I had unauthorized charges on my credit card. I called the number on the back of the card. After 1h and 10 minutes on hold i hung up. CIBC has really no respect about the clients time.
Tellers have been very helpful all the times I have been there.
Worst bank in the world.want to close my account but couldn’t because I have tax free savings account with them. Without my consent they locked it for 2 years. Now I can not withdraw my money . I have to wait 2 years. I’m frustrated . I go to branch to branch wait hours and hours but no one can help me…
