This is the worst bank and staff I have ever dealt with. For a simple PIN reset on my business account, I was passed between 4 people — including two "financial advisors" — none of whom could help me. This wasn't the first time. I always try CIBC customer support first because I dread coming to this branch, and they just sent me here anyway. Twice. By the third handoff, I broke down. Tried to open an Investor's Edge account online but preferred to go to the branch. At the branch, the teller called over 3 staff members that sent me home to go do it.
Something wrong at this bank. I have been a customer for many years and now since newest manager the whole atmosphere has changed. Don’t care if they help you or not. Everyone seems quite miserable and unhappy with their jobs. Retire or get a new jobs if you dislike it that bad. I don’t deserve to be treated with such disregard is it because I’m a senior citizen now???
No problems with the service at this bank but I cant get over the absolutely horrific smell in the ATM area. It was clear that the floor had just been mopped, but that did not elimate the gut wrenching aroma that was coming from whatever just died in there. We had to cover our faces the entire time we withdrew our American Cash and sprint out of there before passing out from holding our breath. Worst customer service from Mathew and Marilin!!!! Came in today for a simple transaction they said they can’t help me as they have a new policy change since covid, but literally a superviser had done it for me couple months ago, which is past covid time. So disappointed with this branch. They should know better and to help their customers, especially that I’ve been with CIBC for many and many years.
